Day One: 29 July 2006: ( BAD impression)

Wake up and ready all the stuff :-)

Leave home and take Metro to China Town, NYC underground is always make me disappointed ! You have to be patient ! >;(

Get to another bus station "DBA LUCKY STAR", thx for Jasper's pervious suggestion. So I take the earlier one ! It is good, only 11 people there ! fast and with good view for the whole NYC city with sun rises ! lovely !

Arrive at Boston. What a beautiful city ! I fall in love with Boston. ;-)

Move in Boston University Dormitories, very nice apartment! Room 715C, 4 Rooms share with 2 bathrooms and 1 kitchen ! Good !

Extremely feel disappointed with the whole arrangement of the exhibition ! What a crap !
Poor arrangement ! No one is professional, No one knows what is going on, and DVD is not ready ! So mamy mistake; So many things are missing; So many complains ! hahaa..MY GOD! It is the most worst international exhibition I have ever encountered ! MY GOD ! Some exhibitions there in the lobby.....just make you ......!!! .....大開眼界...! MY GOD...! );-L

Into the exhibition hall, and meet some people from Hong Kong including Clifford....!
Hanging out around the Book Shop....!

Go into the Art Gallery, the main exhibition venue, it is so so amazing ! I like it ! No so much context for all the works, but the invention and their vision and energy to create sth news is much more inportant at this moment ! Half of them is great !
And, I have seen one new work here is very similar to one of my CDROM Project (98-2001): "Talking", it is 95% similar ! I feel so happy and surprised ! Will discuss about this issue later when I have some photo for my reference.

Day Three: 31 July 2006: ( GOOD impression)

The Talk:
Art Sketch: Transmission, Communications and Connections
3 speakers, all showing their works in the Art Gellery. To be honest, no that special, so so only ! The last speaker is so lazy ! BAD ! His installation is same ! nothing special ! I feel disappointed with his work !

Meet Yeung Hay ( Hong Kong ), Francis Lam ( Hong Kong /MIT )and Hoyunson ( Korea ) in the venue !
Dinner with the friends I meet in Siggraph ;-)

Join the Talk, Exhibition in Hall B and Fair in Hall A. The Fair is amazing ! So So many interesting and cerative stuffs there, I cannot finish the all in a day as I need to meet Francis Lam at 5:30pm

Meet Francis Lam in MIT, he show me around and his studio in Media Lab, MIT ! MY GOD ! I just noticed his is 6A studnent ! Cool boy ! samrt and young ! and I like his current works as well, glad to know more about him !
Visit Francis Lam in Media Lab and Dinner together, in China Town ! Mini Hot Pot !

Go for Dinner together ! Happy try ! Mini Hot Pot in China Town!

Go back home by taking Subway myself ! Good ! My first time to take Subway in Boston ! Cool ! I like Boston. Still not yet have time for the sightseeing ! ;-(

Visiting workshop and Fair in HALL A again. Too Too many good stuffs la ! I spend more time in the camera issue, they have so many different kind of new cameras for doing interesting stuffs, but so expensieve, for industry only...! :-(

Go to visit Museum of Science, Boston
5:00pm
Go to visit Museum of Fine Arts ( MFA). It is so pity ! As Museum of Fine Arts, Boston should have so many good collection of Chinese art expecially paintings ! But the room for Chinese painting is surprising small, and they are showing Dong Qichang's work now, " Understanding the Master: Dong Qichang and His Circle". :-(
No chance to see another Chiense painting collection... !
The arrangement of Chinese art is good and professional ! Also, the bookshop in the Museum is also impressed ! Good ! no matter how exhausetd and hungry am I, still take an hour in the book shop afterwards! And then rush back to hotel for food la!

Back home for dinner, Chinese food again ! Need " rice" .
Still not yet have time to do sightseeing and seafood in Boston.... :-(

Day Six: 3 Aug 2006: ( So So)

Wake up and pack up my stuff and check out

Only hang around the city and so boring as no where I can go

Rush to the bus startion and get the bus to NYC just in time

Meet Shirley again, she is Francis Lam's friend from Taiwan.

Finished a boring movie which borrowed from the library a week ago.
